How to view Invisagig configuration page through my pfSense router?

I set up an HP t740 with pfSense and have the 4 port Intel ethernet adapter installed in the expansion slot. The Invisagig modem is attached to the WAN port. I am able to access the configuration page of pfSense with my Ubuntu PC. I cannot access the configuration page of the Invisagig modem. When I remove the ethernet cable from the WAN port of the router and connect it directly to my Ubuntu PC, the Invisagig configuration page is accessible easily. While connected through the router, I looked at all of the IP addresses in the dashboard of pfSense under “Interfaces” and tried to connect to each of them (WAN and OPT1). The WAN and OPT1 (Used in the Wireguard setup) IP addresses give me the pfSense configuration page. The Invisagig address at 192.168.225.1 hangs and does not connect if I connect through my router. It works fine if directly attached to my PC. Is there a way to connect to the Invisagig through my router?

I’ve no pfsense experience, but @ryan should be able to chime in at some point when he sees this.

Howdy! If you follow the recommendations provided in the guide Richard linked to this should get you sorted. I run the same setup with pfSense on a T740. The trick in most cases is setting the pfsense WAN MAC statically in the Bridge (IP Passthrough) configuration and setting the pfsense gateway monitoring IP to 192.168.225.1 which then also sets a static route which will persistently enable access to the IG admin page.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks very much. I’ll get started on this. Thanks Richard and Ryan.
