Im curious if anyone has attempted to cool the modem differently; i’ve been using the invisagig without the fan plugged in because it gets extremely noisy; the modem does get kinda spicy under usage though around 96c under heavy use. Any ideas for a decent passive cooling option?
I bought a small fan with a speed control that I sit on top of my IG. On the lowest setting it keeps the IG fan from coming on.

You can wire in a resistor in line with the fan if you want to slow it down. Or get fancy and put a variable resistance.
AC Infinity makes good stuff.
thanks, i bought the ac infinity fan on amazon and get much better temps, highest temp was low 60s
I did the same thing with exactly the same fan unit. I leave it on all the time as the indoor temperature in my home gets over 90 degrees F. Seems to help a lot.
